Frequently Asked Questions
Commercial terms, lead times, documentation and the technical questions that come up most often before a first order. If your question is not here, ask it directly — a specific answer is more useful than a general brochure.
MOQ: 500–2,000 units by platform. Quote turnaround: 1 working day. Production lead time: 15–20 days from deposit and packaging approval. Payment: 30% deposit, balance before shipment. Shipping: FOB Shenzhen, EXW or DDP. Documentation: CE, FCC, RoHS, CCC, PSE and UKCA files per family; UN38.3 and MSDS per battery pack configuration.
Ordering and terms
What is the minimum order quantity?
It depends on the platform and configuration: 500 units on entry robot vacuum and pet fountain platforms, 504–1,000 units on spin scrubbers, 1,000 units on LDS and self-emptying robot vacuums, and 2,000 units on the car vacuum where aluminium finishing and fixed toolings are involved.
How long does a quote take?
Standard platform configurations are quoted within 1 working day. Quotes for custom colours, accessory kits or packaging artwork take 2–3 days because each variant is priced line by line. Every quote states the certification documentation status for the models involved.
What is the production lead time?
15–20 days from deposit and packaging approval for standard configurations. First orders with custom colours or packaging run to the upper end because of the surface-treatment step. Compliance testing for your destination market, where still outstanding, is scheduled before shipment and flagged at quotation.
What are your payment terms?
30% deposit with the balance before shipment. Payment by bank transfer in USD. Adjusted terms for repeat accounts are discussed after the first completed orders.
Which shipping terms do you offer?
FOB Shenzhen by default, with EXW and DDP available by agreement. Sea freight for volume orders; air freight where the schedule demands it. Battery products travel with UN38.3, MSDS, drop and stacking documentation filed per pack configuration.
Can you ship under our brand with our own app?
Yes. Housings are injection moulded in-house, so Pantone-matched colours carry no tooling surcharge, and the white-label WiFi app carries your brand name with Alexa and Google Assistant voice integration. App scope is confirmed on the configuration sheet at sampling.
Can I get samples before production?
Yes. A pre-production sample with your colour, logo and packaging artwork is produced for approval before mass production. Sampling is quoted separately and the configuration is frozen on the specification sheet before the production run.
Can I visit the factory before ordering?
Yes, and we would rather you did. The plant is in Bao'an District, Shenzhen — a 5,000+ m² three-storey campus where you can walk the injection moulding floor, the 8 SMT lines and the 4 assembly lines in one visit. Video audits are available where travel is impractical.
How do you handle a design or configuration change?
Changes are made on the configuration sheet with a revised quotation before implementation. Colour and packaging changes are straightforward; mechanical changes restart sampling because the platform toolings are fixed.
What happens if a shipment fails our incoming inspection?
Every unit carries line-test records, so a disputed batch is traceable to its test data. Replacement or rework terms are fixed in the sales contract before the first order, not negotiated after a problem.
Platforms and specifications
How much suction power do you need in a robot vacuum?
1,000–2,000 Pa handles hard floors and daily dust; 3,000 Pa and above is meaningful mainly for medium-pile carpet and pet hair. Our range covers 1,000 to 4,000 Pa, and we will tell you when a lower-suction platform fits your market rather than upselling the top model.
LDS or gyroscope navigation — which should I choose?
LDS builds a map in one pass, supports no-go zones and costs more; gyroscope models clean in a structured pattern without a visual map and hit a lower retail price point. For products above roughly USD 150 retail we recommend LDS; below that, gyroscope keeps your bill of materials honest.
What is the difference between IPX4 and IPX7 on a spin scrubber?
IPX4 means the tool resists water splash from any direction — enough for use in a wet bathroom, but the body should not be submerged. IPX7 means the sealed body survives immersion at 1 m, which matters if you market the brush as fully washable. IPX7 adds gasketed enclosure cost, so we only recommend it when "submersible" is a marketing claim you intend to make.
How long does the battery last on a single charge?
No-load runtime is at least 2 hours on the 2,000–2,600 mAh packs, and at least 3 hours on the compact G017. Real working time with brush load is lower; plan on 60–90 minutes of continuous scrubbing per charge when quoting consumer expectations.
Is 20,000 Pa real suction or a marketing number?
The CG2 has two measurable modes: 8,000 Pa in ECO and 20,000 Pa in MAX. In MAX the 15–25 minute runtime drops toward the bottom of that range. We quote both numbers so your product page can be specific instead of one unverifiable figure.
Why separate clean and waste water in a pet fountain?
In a single-bowl fountain, water the pet does not drink sits and degrades; in a dual-tank design, stale tray water is drained into a separate waste tank instead of re-circulating. The P006 pairs a 4 L clean tank with a 3.5 L waste tank and can auto-drain on a 24 h or 48 h cycle, which is what makes the 15–20 day refill interval realistic.
